Our Policies / Training

As an organisation we have a policy of training apprentices and offering long-term careers to our employees. We actively support schemes such as ‘Step into Construction’ which allow young people to gain a flavour of the industry as well as providing practical work experience. By developing relationships with local schools and colleges, we can become part of, and benefit the local community.

We believe that apprenticeship training is an investment in the company’s future and so is committed to recruiting annually in conjunction with the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB). Apprentices are recruited from the communities in which CLC branches are based and attend local colleges.

In order to retain employees and grow their careers with CLC, the company ensures its reward packages continue to be market competitive during continued employment.
